Si.FI.VITE: SUSTAINABILITY AND INNOVATION IN THE WINE INDUSTRY

Project Purpose and Objectives

The project, promoted under the Sicily RDP 2014-2020 – Sub-measure 16.1, aims to develop an innovative and sustainable model for Sicilian viticulture, transferable to other local contexts. The central purposes include biodiversity conservation, increase in organic production, reduction of environmental impact, energy optimization, and digitalization of processes.

The objective is to guide a young winery, representative of the Sicilian production fabric, towards a competitive transformation, taking it from a local reality to a protagonist in international markets, through innovations in agronomic, oenological, management and marketing fields.
