Project Purpose and Objectives<\/h2>\n

The project, promoted under the Sicily RDP 2014-2020 \u2013 Sub-measure 16.1, aims to develop an innovative and sustainable model for Sicilian viticulture, transferable to other local contexts. The central purposes include biodiversity conservation<\/strong>, increase in organic production<\/strong>, reduction of environmental impact<\/strong>, energy optimization<\/strong>, and digitalization of processes<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The objective is to guide a young winery, representative of the Sicilian production fabric, towards a competitive transformation<\/strong>, taking it from a local reality to a protagonist in international markets, through innovations in agronomic, oenological, management and marketing fields.<\/p>\n

Structure and Expected Results<\/h2>\n

The project is structured in five strategic intervention areas, with concrete expected results:<\/p>\n

1. Sustainable viticulture<\/h3>\n

    Introduction of innovative techniques for phytosanitary defense, soil and canopy management, rational irrigation, composting and support crops.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Expected results:<\/strong> reduction in the use of pesticides, savings on fertilizers and water, improvement in grape quality and increase in farm income.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    2. Oenological innovation<\/h3>\n

      Production of wines with low sulfite content and controlled alcohol level, energy efficiency in the cellar, and computerized traceability of processes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Expected results:<\/strong> greater wine healthiness, cost reduction, opening to new markets and greater quality control.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Adoption of green marketing strategies and logistics optimization.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
